I am an alumna of the University of Idaho. I graduated in May 2007 with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in political science. After graduation, I attended the Poynter Institute’s summer fellowship in St. Petersburg, Fla.

I am currently living in Des Moines, IA and working at the Des Moines Register as the West Des Moines school district/Clive community/suburban crime reporter.
